Larry Cabaldon founded BPG in 2008 after more than 25 years experience in the
Executive Performance Improvement field, dealing with human resources,
management assessment and executive search. His background includes positions as
Executive V.P. and Director for DHR International (among the top five global
executive recruiting firms), Director of Executive Search for Pricewaterhouse
Coopers (among the top four international CPA firms), and as Director of Human
Resources in the banking industry (including a 400-employee bank holding company
with seven non-bank subsidiaries). Larry’s spectrum of business acumen covers
banking, oil, real estate, aerospace, health care, insurance, software,
asset-based lending, auto finance, leasing and trust companies, with clientele
including Bank of America, Security Pacific, Wells Fargo, Arco, Union Oil,
Paramount Studios, and many closely-held and family-owned businesses. He
lectures regularly to the California Bankers Association on organizational strategic direction and leadership, as well as
meeting fiduciary responsibilities while protecting against personal liability,
“Assessing Fiduciary Performance,” “Board Role in Mergers & Acquisitions,”
“Board Succession Planning,” “Creating a Proud Legacy of Leadership and Value”
“Surviving the Credit Crunch” and similar areas. He also serves as Director of
the Forum for Corporate Directors, former President of USC Commerce Associates
(an 1,800 member alumni support organization), Advisor to the Dean’s Board for
Concordia University School of Business, as Chairman of Options for Youth
(serving 3000 high school dropouts), and for many other charitable
organizations. Larry’s BS degree was awarded from California State University
Northridge, where he also excelled at varsity basketball.

Dennis Duitch joined BPG in 2009 with extensive boardroom expertise in strategic
and operations management, finance, accounting and general business matters for
companies including manufacturing, distribution, retail, marketing, real estate,
legal & medical practice, entertainment, and not-for-profit organizations.
Dennis has been a top-level CPA, Business Manager and Consultant to closely-held
businesses, families & high-wealth entrepreneurs, celebrities & heirs for over
thirty years. With credentials including an MBA degree in Finance from
Northwestern University and certificates of specialty in Mediation and Business
Appraisal, he provides pragmatic counsel in strategic direction and planning,
business structure, forecasts, operating plans and budgets, control
systems/procedures & infrastructure, succession & exit strategy, deal
negotiations, mergers, acquisitions, dissolution and tax planning. Dennis is
also a Certified Estate Advisor, licensed insurance advisor, and Mediator for
matters including partner/shareholder disputes and business & marital
dissolution. He has lectured extensively in management and financial areas for
the California CPA Foundation, business and professional groups, several
colleges and universities, has authored technical articles in taxation and
management, served in executive officer and Board roles for many companies &
non-profit organizations, and as Vice-Chairman for Accountants Global Network.
Dennis began his career with the international firm Grant Thornton before
founding Duitch & Franklin LLP, which evolved to become one of Southern
California’s largest independent CPA practices, with divisions including
Business Management, Forensic, Technology and Human Resource consulting,
acquired by a public company in 1998. He subsequently served as President for
Smart Inventions, Inc. a consumer products company with infomercial, retail, and
fulfillment operations, until forming Duitch Consulting Group in 2003. |
